The Boys Heely Evolution shoes are a complete renovation of style and function from last years models. They come in only 2 variations, charcoal, black and silver or the style pictured above with charcoal, black and red accents.
The Evolution is constructed with a molded synthetic upper with breathable mesh and an abrasion resistant toe piece to make your shoe last longer. New for this year and a major selling piece of this model is the integration of a nylon grind plate so that you can 'grind' with your Heelys as if they were soap shoes or roller skates!
Gel-Pack heel cushioning along with the heel bracket make this shoe a breeze to find your balance point and be heeling in no time at all. The ABEC 7 608 bearings and a new steel "coin axle" allows the newest "Big Deuce" wheels the smoothest roll of them all.
By far, one the best selling models of the year and sometimes very hard to find although most online Heelys stores still carry them. Look to spend upwards of $90 on a pair of these, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. If the Evolution is out of your price range then you can take a look at a more basic shoe like the Boys Heelys Laser.

They finally got their Heelys! We're thrilled with these shoes! My boys, 5 & 7, picked up on the motion by first practicing in the kitchen. Now they easily pop the wheels in & out, and can wear them virtually anywhere. I do have them alternate these and regular sneakers, since these are a little heavier.
